We are beyond thrilled to welcome our friend and newest collaborator to the Board of Directors, Janie Brooks Heuck, Managing Director of Brooks Wine!

Under Janie’s leadership, Brooks Wine operates as the only winery in the world to be Demeter Certified for Biodynamics, a Certified B Corporation, Earth First E-Commerce Certified, a member of 1% for the Planet and a member of Ecologi.

Brooks produces an incredible selection of award-winning Willamette Valley wines. They have been included in Wine & Spirits Magazine’s Top 100 Wineries of the Year (2019, 2021), and lauded by publications like Wine Spectator, the Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and beyond.

Janie’s leadership and her commitment to people, community, and our planet have garnered admiration and respect throughout the Oregon wine community. In 2022, Janie Brooks Heuck was named Oregon Wine Person of the Year by the Oregon Wine Press.

Brooks Wine and The Trotter Project are delighted to join forces and honor the legacies of Charlie Trotter and Jimi Brooks. Together, we carry forward their commitment to innovation and service to others.
